Dialing and Driving in School Zones Will Soon Cost $200

From KBMT:

David Ingram

A cell phone call in some school zones will soon become a very expensive toll call if it is made from a moving vehicle.

A new state law that goes into effect September 1 will allow school districts to become cell phone free zones for drivers. Violators will face fines of up to $200.

Not all school zones will fall under the new restriction.

Tonight at 6 KBMT’s Brian Burns will take viewers to school zones where dialing and driving will soon be an expensive combination.
